Zarii Arri was born in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I, on February 12th, 2002. She and her father share the same birthplace. She loves traveling and has had the opportunity to visit as well reside in numerous Caribbean islands, including The Commonwealth of Dominica, her mother’s native county. She is a young philanthropist and it was upon the death of her grandfather, she fell ill in Dominica. Zarii was moved to make a difference in the lives of children in the hospital. She noticed that the Children’s ward did not have much, especially in the areas of toys and entertainment activities. It was then, she made a decision to help the children and the Children’s Ward of the Princess Margaret Hospital.
Zarii has been in the mentorship program under the award-winning celebrity designer and founder of Restore to Empower Organisation Arthlene Laudat Legair and will receive her certificate after she finishes the sewing school training on July 25th in Los Angeles CA. She will launch her new charity organization, a non-profit organization that serves underprivileged and sick hospitalized children by providing toys for them. Zarii will make her first donation to the Princess Margaret Hospital later this year in November 2015.
Zarii began taking official dance lessons by the time she was eighteen months and by the time she was two years old, she wanted to be an entertainer. Through her love and desire, it has been her passion to diligently work hard at her craft and has been doing so for the past eleven years. She is quite an experience in many genres of dance and has graced many stages, as well as dancing with the great legends of the Arts.
Za as we affectionately call her is also an experienced musician and public speaker and a competitive figure skater. She is currently working hard on her routines for the upcoming figure skating competitive season. Her love for skating continues to grow.
Za has worked with some of the best in Hollywood, like Danny DeVito, Steven Spielberg, Lance Reddick, Magic Johnson, Tracey Morgan on the Jimmy Kimmel show and Grammy Award winner India Arie and many more. She is an actress known for St.Sebastien (2015), the only child star in the movie. It was through her role in, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005) that she became fast friends with Danny DeVito. She also is a voice-over artist who has worked with Nickelodeon, this involved Olivia the Pig, where her role was Francine. She has appeared in various films, music videos, commercials, and philanthropic works. One of her most notable works was the Military One Source commercial where she won a Telly Award for best commercial 2008 to 2009. She was also principal in the KGB and Jackson Hewitt National Commercial. Zarii was also “Little India Arie” in the music video “There’s Hope” alongside India Arie and Malcolm Jamal Warner.
